Community Create
I am excited to begin twice monthly Community Creates!
After hearing over and over the need for more opportunities to connect through art-making, I am introducing this new way for folks to come together in an informal setting, create something wonderful, and connect with others on their creative journeys.
Each Community Create will have a different theme and suggested materials. But there are no rules! But come with what you have or what you want to work with.

No art experience necessary! Ever!

Are Community Creates for artists only?
NO! Community Creates are for anyone curious about how art and creativity can help you decrease stress, create community, and have fun! No art experience is ever necessary in any of my work.

Will our art be critiqued?
NO! Any art you make is a pure and authentic expression of you. There is no wrong, there is no right. In the Expressive Arts, the emphasis is learning and growing through the art-making process. Quite often what you make will surprise and delight you, however. We are all artists in our own unique ways.

Do I have to share in the group?
Nope. These groups and processes are for you. Unlike in a Creativity Coaching session, you can engage as little or as much as you like.

Do I need a ton of art supplies?
Nope! In fact I do not want you to go out and purchase art supplies for these. Show up with what you have around the house, or bring your own, different art activity. I will always offer suggested art materials, but they are only suggestions. There is always a creativily different way to engage with the session's theme! I will be happy to offer adjustments and ideas to help you find what feels good.

Do I have to come to all of the Community Creates?
No! I hope you will join for as many as you can, but each of these is a stand-alone session with a different focus. Come to one, come to all, it's up to you!
